Certified Nursing Assistant

Purpose of your position:

The primary purpose of your position is to perform non-professional direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the charge nurse, administrative nursing, or administrator.  This is to be done to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be reached and maintained at all times.

Hours of Work:

The nursing department is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Nursing department shifts are typically:  6:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M., 2:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M., and 10:00 P.M. - 8:00 A.M. You will by hired to work one of these shifts, with the understanding your work shift (schedule) may be adjusted to meet our residents' and Milner Community Health Care's needs.



Charge Nurse (RN or LPN)

Purpose of your position:

The primary purpose of your position is to provide direct nursing care and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility; and as may be directed by administrative nursing and the Administrator to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.  Assume the authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing nursing personnel.

Hours of Work:

The Nursing Department is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Nursing Department shifts are typically:  6:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M., 2:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M., and 10:00 P.M. - 8:00 A.M.  You will be hired for one of these shifts, with the understanding that your work shift (schedule) may be adjusted to meet our residents' and Milner Community Health Care's needs.



Housekeeping

Purpose of your position:

To perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards and as may be directed by the Supervisor of Housekeeping and/or the Administrator to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable manner.

Hours of Work:

The Housekeeping Department is staffed seven days a week with a variable day and evening shift, each day.  Work shift/schedule will be adjusted, when necessary, to meet the needs of Milner Community Health Care, Inc. and our residents.


Laundry

Purpose of your position:

The primary purpose of your position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards and as may be directed by the Laundry Supervisor and/or Administrator. This is done in a manner to ensure that an adequate supply of linen and residents’ personal laundry is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner to meet the needs of
each resident.

Hours of Work:

The Laundry Department is staffed seven days a week, from  8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.  Work shift/schedule will be adjusted, when necessary, to meet the needs of Milner Community Health Care and our residents.



Cook

Purpose of your position:

The primary purpose of your job description is to prepare food in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations; facility policies and procedures; and as may be directed by the Dietitian, Dietary Supervisor, and/or Administrator to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.  Also responsible to supervise and direct the overall operation of the dietary department.

Hours of Work:

The Dietary Department is staffed seven days a week.  Day cook's shift is 5:45 A.M. - 1:15 P.M. and evening cook's shift is 1:30 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. (work schedule/shift will be adjusted, when necessary, to meet the needs of Milner Community Health Care and/or residents' needs).



Dietary Assistant

Purpose of your position:

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed, in accordance with established federal, state and local dietary regulations and facility policies and procedures.

Hours of Work:

The Dietary Department is staffed seven days a week.  Dietary Assistant's shifts are 6:30 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
Work schedule is adjusted to meet the needs of Milner Community Health Care, Inc.
